Bayleaf Apartments - Casa D'Avo
During my recent travel to Funchal, I had the opportunity to stay at Bayleaf Apartments - Casa D'Avo. Although I stayed at this hotel only for transit purposes, I found it to be conveniently located near the nearest airport, just 13 km away. This proximity made my journey hassle-free and saved me precious time. the database provided accurate information about another Bayleaf property, Apartments-Casa D'Avó, which is located 20 km from the airport.
The bed provided was a bit short for my height of 170 cm.

Loved the patio and garden, perfect for sipping tea and pretending I'm green-thumbed. Free WiFi was a godsend, I could stay socially connected without having to talk to real people. Washing machine meant I could avoid wearing the same underwear for a whole week. So convenient!
Can't complain, it's not like I expected a personal butler to fan me with palm leaves while I slept.

I keep coming back to my favorite place in Funchal. Great staff who helped with late check out. Perfect place with Wi-Fi, electric kettle, cookware, AC, flat-screen TV. No pets, non-smoking. Coming back for Xmas!

The apartment had a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, making it convenient for preparing meals. The free WiFi provided by Bayleaf Apartments-Casa D'Avó was reliable and allowed me to stay connected during my stay. The apartment's garden and terrace were a lovely feature, providing a peaceful and relaxing ambiance.
Noisy neighbors upstairs.

El hotel es muy bonito por fuera y por dentro se encuentra muy limpio. La habitación para 4 personas, incluyendo 2 niñas, fue fantástica. La ubicación del hotel es bastante buena, ya que está en una zona tranquila, cercana a la catedral y a los monumentos, así como al centro de la ciudad. Además, el personal fue muy amable y atento. El desayuno fue buenísimo, y la habitación era muy tranquila, limpia y espaciosa.
Me gustó todo.

the location is perfect, with convenient access to a parking garage and local stores like cafes and restaurants. the apartment itself is surprisingly beautiful, with a lovely balcony/patio area where you can relax after a day of hiking. the kitchen is well-equipped, and there's even a laundry room with a washing machine. the host, Eliana, was amazing and provided us with fantastic recommendations. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this apartment.

Convenient location near city center, coast, and bus stations. Cosy apartment with patio, garden, sunbeds, shower, and grill. Laundry room available and good internet. Friendly and helpful owner. Limited parking options for car owners.
